What was the thought process behind the Rocket Boys smart contract? Why this contract over any other?
While Rocket Boys had a unique use case for the token itself, we wanted to encourage holding by offering rewards similar to some of the bigger trending concepts of this year. We combined concepts from the most successful tokenomics of early 2021 and integrated these into the smart contract.
Is your team renouncing ownership? Explain why or why not, and how it would be beneficial.
We will not be renouncing ownership due to the fact that we want to have access to the contract to ensure improvements can be made in future if required. If swap websites such as PancakeSwap upgrade to a V3 it could mean certain changes are required. There may also be some changes required for when our launchpad is live.
Does your team have experience within the DeFi environment? Are you prepared to run this project diligently?
Yes absolutely. The lead marketer Christian “Online Boss” is very recognised within this space who has applied his marketing expertise as an advisor for several successful projects such as Sportemon Go. He has taken the same role here. Online Boss has also partnered with JohnTools who is the lead developer from Bogged Finance and Olympus. Another well known name within this space.
To sum up we have combined the best marketer with the best developer for the BSC space which we believe to be a recipe for success.
Please explain your team’s choices in distributing Rocket Boys upon launch and how you believe it will be beneficial to the project.
Unfortunately, today’s solutions to different presale platforms are that they are riddled with bots and/or owners requiring large amounts of tokens or compensation for listing you on the platform. This is the very thing Rocket Boys wants to change within the space.
As a result, we have decided to have a whitelisted private and public presale on our website powered by gemtools. This was a mutli-stage process that allowed participants to register their interest and desired contribution amount followed by a separate link for those eligible to participate. This resulted in nobody being able to use excessive gas fees to get ahead of others or doing significant research to acquire any links early. We are confident that there were no bots that could have taken part in our presale.
